Across Canada, more homeowners are investing in heat pumps, smart thermostats, and energy upgrades.
But here’s the reality:

  • Many homes are still underperforming after installation
  • Comfort issues remain
  • Energy savings don’t meet expectations

At NEO (Novel Energy Optimization), we’re addressing this gap with a hands-on Home Energy Optimization service—focused on real performance, not just equipment.

 

 

We’re looking for:

Field-Based Energy Optimization Specialists (Part-Time / Per-Visit)

This is not a traditional HVAC installation role.

It’s about understanding how homes actually perform—and improving that performance.

 What you’ll do:

               Visit residential homes

  • Assess real-world energy performance

  • Optimize heat pumps and thermostat settings

  • Identify inefficiencies and comfort issues

  • Provide clear, practical recommendations to homeowners

 

 

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have hands-on experience with HVAC systems or residential building home inspection 

  • Enjoy solving real-world problems (not just following installation manuals)

  • Can explain technical concepts in simple, clear language

  • Are professional, reliable, and comfortable working in homes

  • Interested in attending an online short course on home energy optimization

 

 

 Engagement Model:

  • Contract / per-visit (flexible)

  • Ideal for professionals looking to expand their field experience or add a new revenue stream
